HPT is currently searching for an Outside Sales Manager. We specialize in supporting our customers with Ultra High Purity applications for use in the semiconductor industry as well as supporting customers with a host of cleaning, passivation and electropolishing needs. Our customers are in the industries and areas including semiconductors, medical devices, biotech, renewable energy, Bio-pharm and Aerospace.
This position will work 50% on the road and 50% remotely or at our offices reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 - 5 years’ sales experience.
- Industry experience in one, or more, of the following: semiconductor, oil & gas, life sciences, and/or renewable energy.
- Process automation/instrumentation and/or analytical sales experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPOSIBILITIES :
- Search for new customers and develop long-term relationships.
- Use Technical knowledge and industry contacts along with sales skills to provide advice and support to our clients and customers.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team to identify and track all opportunities domestically.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established quotas.
- Provides Operations Manager with quantifiable scope of work to create and ensure proper bid / proposal. Assist in preparing bids/quotes if necessary.
- Able to travel and stay overnight as required for customer visits, job walks, trade shows, industry events, etc.
- Generate quoting opportunities for UHP applications in the chip manufacturing industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Participate in weekly Sales Meetings.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written (training / presentations /report writing)
- Sales-driven, self-motivated, energetic, persuasive, organized, independent, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent computer skills using SAGE, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. preferred.
- Must possess top negotiating skills and be able to build relationships in the semiconductor industry.
- High level of integrity and work ethic

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· While traveling the employee will encounter outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
· This job may require up to 50% travel.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
