We are currently seeking an excellent outside Sales Representative who can develop a sales strategy and build and expand buyer relationships to achieve sales goals. You’ll be responsible for seeking out, engaging with, and presenting our solutions to new prospects and current customers. $65,000+ at plan
Responsibilities:- Use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients
- Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly
- Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand and close deals efficiently
- Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves
- Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects
- Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders
- Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
- Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs
- Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
- Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
- 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience
- Some industry or product knowledge preferred and a High school diploma is required
- Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
- Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales
- Sales experience preferred – go-getter mindset
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts
- Bilingual Speaking (English/Spanish) A PLUS
