Outreach Specialist

Location- Position is hybrid. Travel is required 80-90% and area of travel will be determined upon hire. Sunrise has locations in Cincinnati- West, Forest Park, Over the Rhine, Middletown, Piqua, Dayton, Springfield, Columbus, Milford, West Union and Portsmouth.

The Outreach Specialist will be a self-starter who can work independently to meet goals set out by the Marketing Department and Corporate Management teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, outgoing, and accountable.

Manage and grow Sunrise’s relationships with healthcare providers.

Performs follow-ups as directed by management on prospect meetings and assist in the successful negotiation and acquisition of new referral/patient streams from targeted groups or individuals.

Build and deepen strategic relationships, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise.

Exceeds intake and new patient targets by establishing influence in market segments including, but not limited to: physicians, practitioners, social services, hospitals, professional organizations, mental health centers, etc. through a variety of avenues such as personal appointments and visits, phone calls, letters, emails, and conferences.

Manage and track outreach efforts in Access, Excel, and other systems.

Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing goals in both written and verbal formats.

Plan and attend Sunrise outreach events.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job will be 80 - 90% external or out of our office. May have to travel to Sunrise sites as needed for community events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This role requires extensive travel to Sunrise and non-Sunrise external locations. Good driving ability, insurability and use of a car required. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, day Shift hours. The employee must be available to meet with providers. Some meetings may be earlier or later depending on the provider’s needs. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Extensive travel both to Sunrise and non-Sunrise external locations will be required. In-person meetings will be required and frequent.

Knowledge of addiction treatment practices and processes

Expert at Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Word, and Access primarily)

High School Degree or equivalent

1-3 years' experience in outreach in treatment industry

Business to Business sales experience

CDCA credential

Healthcare outreach experience
