Job Description:
Assists in the development and successful delivery of Mindfulness in Motion activities for the Wexner Medical Center's (WMC) Integrative Health program. Develops and manages collaborations with senior medical and administrative leadership of healthcare systems, organizations, and associations locally, regionally, and nationwide. The primary responsibility of this position will be to support the ongoing business development of Integrative Health, with a focus on Mindfulness in Motion related activities.
Position Summary:
The Integrative Health - Outreach Specialist develops long-term professional relationships and collaborates with external industry and medical organizations. The position initiates and develops collaborations with healthcare systems, organizations, and associations to expand the reach of Integrative Health and Mindfulness in Motion programming; including, but not limited to, employee supervision, administrative programming, program oversight, quality control, co- marketing, and co-branding. The position helps coordinate the training and oversight of student research assistants and all facilitators and fidelity checkers ensuring fidelity of the MIM program.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, health sciences, social sciences or other medical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; one year experience in a clinical research capacity required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge in Integrative Medicine, Mindfulness, or yoga required; knowledge of medical terminology desired; computer skills required with experience using Microsoft Software applications desired. Evidence of progressively responsible experience in healthcare and proven ability to build consensus, listen and manage customer, facilitator, and other staff issues, and work with complex groups and systems is desired. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a parallel role.
