Responsibilities- Cleans and pressure washes outdoor furniture, kiosks, statues, campus gates, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas. Responsible for cleaning chalk graffiti and other projects as needed and assigned by the Sr. Outdoor Amenities Worker.
- Assists with resurfacing of bronze statues and repairs of Outdoor Amenities under the direction and supervision of the Outdoor Amenities Manger.
- Assists the mason staff with masonry projects as needed.
- Responsible for setting up and breaking down pressure washing or welding equipment for the amenities crew.
- Responsible for other related duties in support of the department's goals and objectives.
- Drives University vehicle as necessary.
Completion of 9th Grade
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, bending, reaching, stooping for long periods, lifting to 25 lbs. in excess, and working under all weather conditions.
A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Ability to perform manual labor, and operate and mechanically service designated machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment.
