Pace Systems is seeking an Outbound Sales Representative to join our team! This role is perfect for individuals who are naturally driven, possess a go-getter attitude, and are excited about the prospect of generating new business. As an Outbound Sales Representative, you'll focus on connecting with government agencies, showcasing the benefits of Pace Scheduler, and driving our growth through your perseverance.
This role is entirely centered around one particular software product called Pace Scheduler, which is an advanced time and attendance solution that approximately 400 Police Departments, Fire Departments, and Dispatch centers use. It is a deep, complex product with a modern web-based user interface, so you will need to understand the ins-and-outs of the product to be able to present it well to customers.
This role does not necessarily require prior sales experience, but does require the persistence and drive needed by any Outbound Salesperson to be successful. We have a proven sales model as shown by our other two successful sales team members, 400 loyal customers, a rapidly growing user base, and the best software solution in our niche. We need somebody who can speak clearly and enthusiastically to our strengths to bring in customers and continue to build on our momentum.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and online messaging within the public sector. Cold calling will make up the largest portion of your day, so you must posses the toughness and thick skin needed to be successful in closing business this way. Our other team members have shown this approach can be highly lucrative, but requires the right mindset.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations, highlighting the unique benefits of Pace Scheduler.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with potential clients, guiding them from initial contact to final sale.
- Collaborate with our team to refine sales strategies, embracing the fast-paced and innovative culture of our unit.
- Continuously seek personal and professional development to enhance your sales effectiveness.
