Type3 LLC, based in Houston, Texas, is actively seeking dedicated full-time contractors to join our team as petition collectors. In this crucial role, you will be tasked with gathering and recording valid signatures for various campaign petitions throughout Houston and beyond. Your responsibilities will also include vigorously advocating for our campaign's missions, engaging with the community to foster support, and enhancing public awareness about our objectives. This position demands exceptional communication skills, a resilient nature, and a deep comprehension of our campaign's aims, ensuring you represent us effectively and contribute significantly to advancing our cause.

We have positions available immediately - Starting pay $1000/week with raises available, $50 dollars per week for gas expenses

Flights, lodging/accommodations, and ground transportation are provided for travelers if needed. Locals also welcome.

We are currently staffing for several projects throughout the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Collect signatures: Approach individuals in public places, such as parks, shopping centers, or events, and explain the purpose and importance of the petition. Encourage them to sign the petition, ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria and provide accurate information.

· Educate the public: Clearly communicate the goals, objectives, and significance of the petition to potential signatories.

· Maintain knowledge: Stay informed about the issues addressed in the petition and be able to answer inquiries regarding its content. Stay updated on relevant news, developments, and arguments related to the cause to provide accurate information to potential signatories.

· Document and organize signatures: Accurately record the details of each signatory, including their name, address, contact information, and any additional required information. Ensure that the collected signatures are organized and stored securely..

· Meet targets: Work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly signature collection targets. Display self-motivation and determination to meet or exceed set goals while maintaining quality and accuracy in signature collection.

· Petition Submission: Submit collected signatures before deadlines, ensuring they are organized and properly formatted according to the requirements.

Required Qualifications

· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

· Previous petition, door knocking, get out to vote, canvassing or face-to-face selling experience preferred

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Persuasive and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.

· Strong computer skills, being able to use Microsoft Office Suite efficiently

· Knowledge and interest in the cause or issue addressed by the petition.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Ethical and able to adhere to legal guidelines and regulations.

· Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.

· Previous experience in advocacy, community organizing, or similar roles is desirable but not mandatory.
