Orthodontic Assistant

We are looking to welcome an upbeat, organized and patient oriented individual to join our team! A Jolley Smiles Orthodontic Assistant’s main goal is to deliver superb customer service while meeting the practice needs.

· Great hours! You'll be working between 30-40 hours a week, and 8-9 hours/day.

A Day in the Life of an Orthodontic Assistant:

· Assist Dr. Jolley, Dr.Pitcher and Dr. Keaton with individual patient care.

· Provide patient care with efficiency and knowledge, ensuring patient comfort.

· Change out wires and brackets on patients.

· Clean and sterilize instruments properly.

· Take proper care of all dental supplies in the office.

· Keep a clean and sterile environment at all times.

· Organize and provide proper storage for all supplies.

· Know and understand appliances and lab work.

· Keep supplies stocked at all chairs & cupboards.

· Enter patient chart info into Dolphin Management, Imaging, and Aquarium.

· Properly and effectively operate X-ray machines in each location.

· Complete beginning of day and end of day procedures as a team.

· Stock toothbrush kits and debond kits.

· Know and understand the proper care and maintenance of all dental equipment in the office.

· Traveling may be required between locations (GJ, Fruita, Delta, Montrose and Moab). Transportation will be provided from Grand Junction to Delta, Montrose and Moab.

Work Remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
