Order Entry Specialist
As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing incoming orders, ensuring timely fulfillment, and maintaining precise records of transactions. The ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a Contract to Hire Opportunity located near Rolling Meadows, IL.
Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and process incoming orders accurately and promptly.
Enter order details into the company's database or order management system with precision and attention to detail.
Confirm order accuracy, pricing, quantities, and shipping information prior to processing.
Liaise with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments to clarify order details or resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized and detailed records of orders, including any changes, returns, or cancellations.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to ensure product availability for orders.
Ensure orders meet quality standards before shipment and address any issues promptly.
Generate reports on order status, trends, or issues as required by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in relevant fields is a plus.
Previous experience in Order Entry, data entry, or a related administrative role preferred.
Proficiency in using order management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to accurately process and input data with a high level of precision.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with internal teams and external customers.
Ability to identify and resolve order-related issues or discrepancies efficiently.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $23-$28 an hour depending on experience
