Job Description:

The Order Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Distribution Department in managing the day-to-day operations of the distribution process for all of our cannabis products, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, optimizing inventory levels, managing logistics service providers, implementing technology solutions to improve distribution processes, managing distribution and delivery routes, managing delivery drivers with a focus on compliance and accuracy, tracking performance metrics for the distribution network, and fulfilling orders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in highly regulated industries, with experience in managing orders and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Distribution Manager and Distribution Department in managing the distribution process for all cannabis products
• Process and manage orders for all cannabis products, including order fulfillment and invoicing
• Ensure timely delivery of orders while minimizing storage costs
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the distribution process
• Manage logistics service providers, implementing technology solutions, managing distribution and delivery routes, managing delivery drivers, and tracking performance metrics for the distribution network
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations in the cannabis industry

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a highly regulated industry such as cannabis, pharmaceuticals, or food and beverage
• 1-2 years of experience using inventory management systems and order processing software
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of logistics service provider management, delivery driver management, and compliance with state and federal regulations

Work environment:

This work environment can be loud due to machinery operating. The Employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and intense smells from different products. The environment is cool as our facility is kept at 68 degrees or lower to stabilize the chocolate.

Compensation:

This position starts at $30/hr
