Oracle Pl/Sql Developer

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Charlotte/Hopewell/Plano (Hybrid-3 Days Onsite)

Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Primary Skills: PL/SQL

Role Description: The Oracle PL/SQL Developermust have at least 8+ years of experience. For this role, you must be well versed in building midrange lower - level testing environments on Oracle.

You will be required to interact with application teams, architects, governance, and audit for defining the strategies required to onboard new applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, processes, and documentation to address product vulnerabilities.

You will be reporting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to help drive the success of projects.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 8+ years’ experience on Oracle PL/SQL

- Expertise in analyzing existing RDBMS structures, scripting, and building stored procedures

- Experience in Unix shell scripting is mandatory

- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills

- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Bachelor’s degree in business information management or equivalent

- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels

- Ability to work closely with Developers and Architects to strategize and drive solutions to complex requirements

- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint skills

- Strong Analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy

- Experience with Agile project methodologies

Desired Skills:

- Experience in one or more of the desired skills is considered a plus

- Knowledgeable in NPI/HRCI Data Sanitization concepts

- Experience in creating and maintaining ETL routines

- Familiarity with Integrated and Independent Release management testing processes

- Prior experience in following BOA Line of business applications on GBT/GMT/GMOT/ERFT/EET

- Experience with working on Hadoop, and/or Mainframe data

- Experienced in Test Data Management Strategies – Like Synthetic Data Generation, data virtualization

- Experienced in building sanitized midrange testing environments by leveraging data from production

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
