The Oracle EPM Functional Analyst will serve as the strategic interface to the Finance & Planning business for the purpose of implementation, configuring, solution design, and support through functional analysis, Oracle cloud configuration, and creating extensions when core configurations would not work. Work with application analysts from other verticals and consultants for EBA implementation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is responsible for functional requirements definition, configuration, solution design, implementation, and maintenance of FP&A i.e., Finance Planning and Analysis applications. The Oracle EPM Functional Analyst Finance applications will work with various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing, and executing application projects and enhancements. Additionally, the position will be playing a critical role of ensuring that Developers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements / specifications related to applications.

Responsibilities
- Manage business analysis processes mapping including requirements gathering methodologies, documentation, and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Communicate the vision for the system by documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements from business objectives, documenting those requirements and refining them into technical action items.
- Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.
- Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Development Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective EPM solutions.
- Verification of feasibility of Business User's request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
- Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision (scope documents, use cases, functional designs and document configurations, detailed specification of key business rules, activity diagrams, business process mapping diagrams and documentation, application gap analysis).
- Provide functional and technical expertise to effectively design and implement EPM modules.
- Lead Financial planning and reporting solutions including but not limited to AOP, Capex, Workforce planning, financial reporting.
- Help business partners in Financial close consolidation and Account reconciliation processes.
- Ability to interact senior business executives and explain the technical solutions with business flair to get the business buy in.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner and coordinate the tasks of internal and external resources where necessary to achieve required results.
- Research and implement technological strategic solutions.
- Domestic and international travel required up to 10%.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology or similar.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles viz., US GAAP, IFRS, FASB etc.
- 6+ years working environment as an EPM Consultant/System Analyst preferred.
- At least 2-3 full life cycle implementation of EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS and other planning modules.
- Experience in product implementation for global organizations with multi-GAAP / multi-Country/ multi-currency/ multi-language implementations/ rollouts is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of Oracle EPM suite of products viz., EPBCS, EPCM, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, DRM, Financial and narrative reporting, smart view.
- Hands-on experience in facilitating design workshops, configuring Oracle Cloud following Oracle best practices, identifying application gaps, providing, and evaluating recommendations to address gaps, completing functional designs, providing Oracle Cloud process guidance and training, and test plans and execution.
- Working knowledge of FP&A, financial close, and planning/forecasting business processes.
- Solid knowledge of implementing both custom and custom applications viz., Financials, Workforce, Projects, Strategic Modeling etc.
- Working knowledge of the functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements. Understanding of currency translations, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under various GAAPs and IFRS.
- Hands on experience in creating configuration, calculation manager, webforms, reports and dashboards, business rules, member formulas.
- Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- English required at an advanced proficiency level.
- Valid US driver's license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.

Salary Range estimated for Oracle EPM Functional Analyst:$80,900.00 to $125,000.00 USD.
