Customer going through a Global Financial System upgrade is looking to add a core member to its growing team to support its initiatives in migrating GL and AP currently in SAP to Oracle Fusion Financial.

This candidate will be responsible for the functional configurations for a suite of Oracle modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, RMCS, FAH, and Procurement.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering and Solution Translation:

Lead and facilitate the gathering of business requirements.

Translate business needs into implementable solutions using best Oracle Cloud practices.

• Documentation:

Review and craft clear, concise functional and technical specifications for Cloud Financials applications.

Detail data mapping, configurations, integrations, and post-launch support.

• Configuration and Design:

Design and execute functional configurations for Oracle GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, RMCS, FAH, Procurement.

• Testing:

Develop comprehensive test script documentation and execute test plans.

Coordinate and support CRPs, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Data Handling:

Collect, cleanse, and reconcile extensive datasets for conversion and troubleshooting custom interfaces.

• Training and Support:

Produce documentation and conduct end-user training and application administration.

• Reporting:

Design, develop, and test reports using OTBI and other reporting tools.

• Incident Resolution and Communication:

Manage the resolution of production incidents/problems.

Liaise with end-users, provide impact analysis, and coordinate with the Offshore support team as needed.

• Facilitation and Decision-Making:

Drive critical discussions on production issues, resolution, and functional process changes with business counterparts.

Structured Testing: Develop a structured testing framework for streamlined testing procedures.

Efficient Data Handling: Implement efficient data handling processes to improve conversion and interface troubleshooting.

Comprehensive Training: Develop comprehensive training materials for end-users to enhance system understanding.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or computer science is desired.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Functional Analyst, including a proven track record of involvement in at least 2 complete lifecycles of Oracle Cloud Fusion and Oracle Cloud PaaS product implementations.
• Support and SLA Management: Proficiency in Support Lifecycle management, including experience collaborating with Oracle support groups and ensuring SLA adherence.
• Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM Expertise: Extensive configuration, extension, and support expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, FAH, and RMCS) and Oracle Cloud EPM modules (ARC, EDM). Experience with Apex Analytics, Apex portal for suppliers, and Vertex-On-Demand is highly desirable.
• Data Management and Analytics: Advanced Excel skills with hands-on experience working with significant datasets. Proficiency in SQL/Toad is required, while knowledge of Databricks is advantageous. Expertise in report building using Oracle tools is essential, with additional experience in SAP Business Objects, Splash BI, Tableau, Domo, or Cognos considered a plus.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Financial and SOX IT Expertise: Strong background in financial concepts and accounting practices. Experience in SOX IT compliance within a public company is required.
• Certifications and Additional Skills: Professional certification in the Oracle Cloud application portfolio would be a valuable addition. Knowledge of Oracle Sales Cloud, specifically Incentive Compensation, and experience with OneStream planning system are advantageous.
