Job Description:

As an Entry-Level Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our optical practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in the field of optometry and wants to kick-start their career in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses based on their prescription and style preferences.
• Perform detailed measurements including pupillary distance, segment height, and frame adjustments.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of eyewear products, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in the optical and eye care industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
