OPS Planner II: Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Satisfaction/Recognition

Assists with development and posting of monthly birthday boards. Maintains STAR award inventory to include purchase and distribution. Maintains and assists with updated to the employee satisfaction program. Create and maintain star tracking system and weekly updates. Sends monthly reminders for those who have expiring stars. Assists with the planning and logistics for quarterly blood drives.

Customer Satisfaction

Development, deployment, and collection of comment cards (department specific and POD specific). Weekly tracking and monthly reporting including reports to divisional leaders. Monthly push weeks for customer comment cards.

Training

Assists in completing performance development tracks for all employees to include communication with employees and leadership for adequate plan development. Provision of monthly supervisor trainings. Assists in quarterly training day to include training plans and tracking of competition. Assign courses and training plans and creation of profiles within TRAIN. Provides quarterly TRAIN updates. Acts as a backup LMS administrator for TRAIN-FL.

Onboarding

Assists with new employee orientation. Delivers onboarding survey and maintains results spreadsheet. Completion of new employee binders and ensures binder updates. Maintains and update log for current employees and those who are separating.

Office Duties

Acts as a back-up for My Florida Market Place purchasing. Assisting with Administrative duties as needed.

Worksite/Employee Engagement

Responsible for content and upkeep of the Escambia Spirit Blog. Assist with preparation and coordination of Equal Employment Opportunity activities with Florida Department of Health officials. Assist with development, reviews results, and summarizes trends with the use of Survey Tools. Coordinates the use and deployment of customer satisfaction surveys.  Review the results and summarize trends.

Health Education

Assist in the development and deployment of FDOH-Escambia core campaigns. Conducts community outreach and participates in health fairs (as needed). Assist with internal communications plans.

Committees

Chairs, co-chairs, or participates with the Training Day Committee, Awards Committee, Employee Engagement Committee, and Quality Improvement committees.

Awards Committee. Offer new star recommendations and updates. Discuss different ways to show recognition outside of our standard star, employee of the quarter and director's awards. Perform annual updates of rewards and recognition policy. Collect Employee of the Quarter nominations and share with Training Day Committee members.

Training Day Committee. Assists in the development of bi-annual training days. Collection of data from bi-annual training days and

Disaster response

In addition to normal disaster duties, this position may assist with setup and breakdown as needed. Acts as supply coordinator and assist with inventory throughout the year.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement:  An Associate's degree and 2 years of experience.

Preferred requirement: A Bachelor's degree.
