Experience in being an optometric/Ophthalmic Technician is preferred, if no experience we are willing to train.
You will be responsible for working up patients for our optometrist and ophthalmologist including checking vision, pressure, ancillary testing and imaging along with updating electronic medical records.
You will also be ordering contacts and obtaining prior authorizations for medications, along with assisting the front desk with answering phones, scheduling patients, checking patient's in and out, medical records, obtaining PCP referrals, pulling authorizations, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
