The primary responsibility of the Operator, Wastewater is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Supervisor. The Operator I will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.
Hiring Requirements:
- Commitment to 24/7 Safety Culture.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in wastewater or related industry preferred.
- A valid and active MA Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 3- 6 months of hire date.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Available for after hours and on call work as required.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements or willingness and ability to learn.
- Valid unrestricted driver's license with good driving record.
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card and pass a drug screen.
