- Communicate and uphold Company policies and procedures
- Oversee all training for new hires as well as tenured employees
- Monitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires
- Maintain accurate training calendar, schedule and records
- Ensure new hire, re-training and cross training are completed in accordance with SOP's and work instructions
- Identify/develop candidates for promotion or for additional responsibilities
- Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolve issues affecting operations
- Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years in similar role or similar role in fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing or call centers.
- Bilingual Preferred
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others
- Proven ability to communicate with, support, and motivate employees to achieve operational
- objectives
- Able to operate department specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens
- Demonstrate the ability to manage change in an appropriate and effective manner and is a strong role model to the team
- Excellent verbal /written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pound
