Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:As an Operations Supervisor you will play a crucial role as a liaison between our valued customers/clients and our dedicated sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer orders and requests are efficiently processed, and you will take a proactive approach to guaranteeing timely deliveries. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to maintain a seamless flow between sales, production, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Liaison:
   • Act as the primary point of contact for customers/clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
   • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and expectations.
2. Order Processing:
   • Oversee the end-to-end order processing system, from order entry to delivery.
   • Work closely with production and logistics teams to monitor the progress of orders and ensure on-time deliveries.
3. Proactive Delivery Management:
   • Anticipate potential delays or issues in the production and delivery process and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
   • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve any challenges impacting delivery schedules.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
   • Implement quality assurance processes within the operations workflow.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Identify areas for process improvement within the operations function and implement efficient solutions.
   • Continuously monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain export authorization required
  
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Prior leadership experience of multiple people, preferably in a technical environment (i.e. production or manufacturing), preferred
• Needs to have a background in process improvement or continuous improvement

Bonus if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2+ years prior relevant experience with knowledge of operational practices
• Ability to travel 10% of your time
  
• A minimum of 3+ years of technical experience
