- Assist DOO in the provision of services to Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Monitor the needs and behaviors of Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Continues to learn about alcohol and/or drug abuse and alcoholism and the principles of recovery.
- Assist with on-site activities, therapeutic support groups, outings and community meetings, as assigned.
- Schedule outings approved by clinical.
- Document the Behavioral Health Technician shift responsibilities and expectations of Monarch Shores.
- Monitor Behavioral Health Technicians' job duties and responsibilities while on shift.
- Provide Behavioral Health Technician orientation training.
- Provide Behavioral Health Technician training to improve quality of care.
- Utilize principles of communicable disease prevention and control.
- Recognize early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance and follow through & reports this to the DOO and Clinical Director.
- Assist in the availability of community services and resources.
- Recognize individuals under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and documents when needed in an Incident Report.
- Respond to emergencies and initiates action as required.
- Discuss significant events involving client’s activities with Treatment Team.
- Follow HIPAA Regulations.
- Be awake during all shifts.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Understand all state, federal, licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Ensure all houses are up to code for Licensing and Accreditation requirements.
- Able to fulfill/maintain a weekly schedule for each house.
- Be prepared at any time to come in/fill in any void in schedule or help in any eminent situations.
- Fill out weekly reports.
- Fulfill any vacancies in driving schedules.
- Supervise and report medication issues with clients.
- Write weekly expense reports for all company cards.
- Fill in for medical staff when they are not available.
- Ensure that 3rd party services are providing optimum care
- Oversee and facilitate hiring, training, and scheduling new staff and accommodate human resources requirements.
- Behavioral Health Technician discipline and documentation and facilitate all monthly residential staff meetings.
- Edit timecards every pay period.
- Make sure vehicles get gas when needed/maintenance.
- Report any residential maintenance to facilities.
- Keep an open line of communication with department heads daily.
- Facilitate house moves and bed changes scheduled by admissions.
- Ensure that clinical has all needed paperwork.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Possess a basic knowledge of administrative functions including, interpersonal communications, office etiquette, and computer skills.
- Possess strong work ethic and high standards of workmanship.
- Possess an introductory understanding of chemical dependency
- Possess an introductory understanding of the 12-step process
- Possess active listening skills in the ongoing development and education of residential treatment services.
- Basic knowledge of HIPPA compliance and privacy measures
- 1. At least two years of management experience.
- 2. At least one year of sobriety if in recovery.
- 3. Experience, knowledge or interest in chemical dependency and abuse.
- 4. Valid RADT or RAC
- 5. Ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity.
- 6. Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
