Job Description
A Divine Event is hiring part-time Operations Staff Leads. This physical position is integral in the set-up, service and break-down of our weddings and special events. Operations Staff perform event set-up in a time sensitive environment, building and moving tables, chairs, catering and design equipment. During the event they run back of house bussing and oversee the Dishwasher positions. Breakdown includes full re-set, clean-up and close-down of the venue. The position includes bar backing, parking management, light facility maintenance and light yard maintenance. The Operations Lead is responsible for training new hires and guiding progressing team members. This position reports to the Event Manager on duty. Saturdays required, must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.
CORE COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Hospitality / Food & Beverage experience
- Hotel or Restaurant Server experience
- Catering Wait Staff experience or Special Events Venue experience
- Wedding Banquet or Event Server experience
- Event or Trade Show industry experience
- Ability to lift minimum of 30 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Comfortable with indoor and outdoor set-up and service
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be available Saturdays. Event opportunities available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays based on event bookings.
Schedule
- Weekend hours – Saturdays are a must
Compensation
- Hourly rate, negotiable based on experience, with a range between $15.00-17.00
