STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, Operations Specialist has responsibility to assist management team with administrative operations in OAS programs. Along with the management team of OAS, The Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring appropriateness and effectiveness of care provision services, ensure all required statistical data for programming is inputted into the PEERPLACE database by programs in a timely manner. This employee will help with budget and statistical reports for NYC Aging and CCNS upon request and will assist to analyze trends in productivity and consumer satisfaction.
- Participates in creating monthly, quarterly and annual reports and work in partnership with management to address issues related to documentation of services
- Collect and input data into multiple electronic platforms systems in order to analyze and report to funding source. Electronic platforms may include but are not limited to: AWARDS, STARS, MIP and others, which may be chosen by the agency for utilization
- Participates in analysis of data from multiple sources and findings utilizing reports, charts and/or graphs, communicate outcome trends, discrepancies and new initiatives
- Regularly interact with the program staff and other key administrative staff in order to identify all measures and goals.
- Participates in quality assurance check to ensure completeness and validity of data
Works with OAS management team to ensure contract compliance and adherence to DFTA and agency policies, internal/external regulatory agency standards and requirements are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
- AA degree in social service or related filed with two years' experience in a social service setting o or providing direct services to older adults
- OR Bachelor's Degree (no experience required)
- Bilingual Spanish/English; Russian/English; Chinese/English; Korean/English speaking preferred.
- Able to travel to multiple locations within the five boroughs as needed.
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds.
