Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually– depending on experience

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and expierenced Assisted Living& Memory Care Operations Specialist.
Position Summary:
This Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing support, guidence and training to all departments in Peregrine Senior Living communities (communities located in western, central, and capital region of NY and MD) under the direction of the Senior Operations Specialist. They will assists in maintaining a balance of regulatory compliance, company risk and liability, employee/department management while maintaining a continuing awareness of resident’s total well-being and quality of services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Human Services, Gerontology, Business, or related field or a Licensed Nurse preferred.
- Knowledge of and/or ability to quickly master understanding of related regulatory and compliance requirements, within assigned regions required.
- Case Management and supervisory/management required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Assisted living required.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of senior living, with independent and Assisted Living, Memory care, and Enhanced Assisted Livingrequired.
- Working knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and MS Office, Electronic Medical Records, etc..
- Must have a valid driver license as position requires frequent travel.(communities located in western, central, and capital region of NY and MD)
- May require obtaining certifications as may be required by applicable state and regulatory agencies for states within assigned region.
Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with Senior Operations Specialist to develop sustainable and verifiable community staff training programs applicable to Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory care communities.
- Verify efficacy of company training programs through evaluation of staff competency, resident quality of care, community culture and customer satisfaction and provide report to corporate team.
- Assess and Implement training programs in collaboration with the communities’ executive director and appropriate department director.
- Maintain sufficient ongoing on-site, need-driven presence as determined by Senior Operations Specialist in collaboration with the community executive director, to support the successful implementation and maintenance of company training programs.
- Assists in the recruitment and retention of qualified staff and in the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive team atmosphere.
- Support and follow up with the communities in identifying deficiency trends and assists in the development of correction action plans and troubleshooting resolutions.
- Participate in company quality management surveys, state surveys, compliance investigations and correction plans.
- Provide guidance and support to community Executive Directors, Resident Care Directors/Case Managers and others as assigned, to assure delivery of consistently high-quality care to residents.
- Oversee the activities of the clinical electronic health records and assist in the support of clinical documentation strategy, workflows, reports and report utilization, training, etc
- Assist in the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident services at communities.
- Provide hands-on assistance to help turn around challenged communities, focusing on staffing challenges, licensure and compliance, satisfaction, and census development.
