Hybrid This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.
The Role - Operations Solutions Analyst Budget and Performance Tracking—this position is responsible for identifying data opportunities between domestic and intercontinental logistics. This position requires an in-depth understanding Logistics, Finance, and Operations. The position will work cross functionally with Plant Office Managers, Material Directors, Supply Chain, Future Costing, Purchasing, Finance, GM Analysts, and LLP’s.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Responsibility of crisis strategy including:
Identify variances and trend data on both domestic and IO for Plan to Forecast, Forecast to Actual, and Actual to Invoice
Develop, track, and share KPIs related to areas of support and create & drive strategy discussion cross-functionally
Develop reporting variances on Actuals to Invoice, lead discussion with providers on variances and develop gap closure plans
Report opportunities and implemented savings / improvements within network that drive out waste and inconsistency to leadership
Develop and distribute reporting and visibility tools to assist analysts in cost savings and IO network optimization improvement opportunities
Work with analysts on plant or platform specific opportunities and share best practices/read across opportunities
Lead and coordinate with other departments, suppliers, and plants to implement cost savings/cost control / efficiency initiatives
Develop enhancements to KPI’s, enhance reporting and visibility to opportunities and gaps to plans
Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis requests pertaining to IO and Domestic
Support Athingz requirements development and act as team liaison
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance highly desired, or another related field
5 plus years of work experience in Finance, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management, not including co-op or internships
Ability to lead problem solving activities and manage project timelines
Capability to concurrently manage multiple cost saving/stop spending operational improvement projects and initiatives
Ability to analyze basic financial data and identify cost drivers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
Proficient in using large datasets in Excel to manipulate, analyze, and extract meaningful insights
Provide direction to both internal team members and external service providers on projects, tasks, expectation setting, etc.
