Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety. Investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future. Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Conduct comprehensive safety audits of construction jobsites to ensure implementation of environment, health, and safety programs, identify areas for improvements, and assure compliance with all applicable federal, state, county and local safety related regulations. Plan, direct, and implement organization safety programs to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environments. Review safety engineer's daily audits to find trends and corrective actions going forward. Act as administrative liaison with all internal/external organizations including AGCR, IRM, OSHA, CEA, Field Tech Group, and customers. Develop, manage, and oversee all safety leading and lagging indicators to gauge safety goals. Develop and implement company safety programs including safety plans, manuals, operating procedures, and other technical safety programs. Identify scope of work and training/equipment requirements for confine space rescue team within the company. Focus on industrial hygiene risks such as dust, noise, silica, lead, air, heat, etc. Develop emergency action plan for local offices. Discover and implement EH&S software such as OMS, Viewpoint, TradeTapp, Click Safety, ISNET, Safe Site Check In, and other safety management tools. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to recruit and mentor safety interns through accredited safety programs. Travel required up to 25% of the time between job sites. Salary: $80,870 - $87,700 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in OSH/Safety, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, plus 2 years of professional experience as Safety Engineer, Safety Specialist, or any occupation/position/job title involving safety audits.
Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience performing safety audits (including inspecting, preparing for, studying, and analyzing industrial hazards) and implementing safety programs and trends; 2 years of professional experience completing and submitting accident reports required by regulatory agencies; 2 years of professional experience inspecting and maintaining jobsites and office SDS manuals and training employees in SDS procedures; 2 years of professional experience inspecting organization facilities and job sites to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards and determining corrective measures where indicated; and 2 years of professional experience developing and ensuring safe equipment operating techniques and environments.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,870 to $87,700 per year. The actual offered salary to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to skill set, experience, education, qualifications, and location. This salary range is subject to future modification.
