We are seeking a diligent and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Empire Adventure Park. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our park equipment, as well as managing the maintenance staff to uphold operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and safety inspections of all Adventure Park equipment, including ropes courses, and climbing structures.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the ongoing reliability and safety of park attractions.
Manage a team of maintenance staff and court staff as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of park facilities and grounds to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment parts, ordering replacements as necessary to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Guest Services, to address maintenance-related issues and support overall park operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance scheduling, tech savvy and being able to troubleshoot computers, games, and mechanical equipment. Hospitality management experience, amusement or adventure park industry would be a bonus.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to adventure park equipment and attractions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience facilities management, hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
