This key position will be responsible for supporting and leading the Environmental Engineering, Construction, and Remediation practice for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Irvine office and mentor project managers while maintaining quality and profitability on projects, as well as assisting with managing and developing the skill sets of Project Managers and other employees and resources to ensure our projects are executed with a high level of efficiency and technical excellence.
- Lead strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings, and help maintain strong relationships with key leaders within their geographic region, and other members in the company’s Environmental Sector.
- Support and develop new business opportunities, and deliver responsive, high-quality environmental compliance and/or investigation and remediation consulting services.
- Budget, scope, and schedule development; monitoring and adherence for tasks and projects managed.
- Partner with senior management, market directors, and project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings, and help to maintain strong relationships with key planning leaders within Southern California.
- Oversee Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others. Responsible for the implementation of firm quality procedures at project and task levels.
- Responsible for technical oversight of the preparation of technical documents and reports.
- Identify and market new clients within the greater Southern California area.
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts.
- Mentor other engineers and environmental staff.
- Review RFQs and prepare proposals.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, and/or Environmental Sciences.
- Should have 15-20 years of consulting firm experience managing and delivering environmental due diligence, remediation, and/or environmental compliance services.
- At least 10 years of experience in managing profit and loss in a consulting business operation
- Experience selling compliance/remediation services to municipal government/public sector, manufacturing, industrial, and/or transportation sectors.
- Possess strong project management, staff management, and mentoring skills.
- Have the ability to interface and develop rapport and positive relationships with our clients and employees.
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
- Proven success leading project teams and marketing new clients with verifiable client relationships in the Southern California market.
- Experience creating budgets and successfully maintaining project budgets.
- Current P.E. or P.G. registration in California with the ability to gain licensure in other states.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
