Position: Operations Manager
Location: Sutter, California
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Position Summary: The Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing the daily operations of our crews and equipment. This includes on-site employee training to support our customers and overseeing the day-to-day activities of a branch. The role demands a balance between meeting corporate objectives, fulfilling customer needs, and efficiently utilizing local resources.
Responsibilities:
- Direct management of crews and equipment across various locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with municipalities and customers, managing project notifications, permits, and compliance with regulations.
- Exercise problem-solving skills and independent decision-making.
- Develop and manage employee schedules, oversee project staffing, and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Plan and execute projects cost-effectively while adhering to safety and compliance standards, including DOT regulations.
- Be available on-call, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Travel as required for project oversight and management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and financial management skills in traffic control, construction, or related industries.
- Excellent communication abilities and a track record of successful customer and municipal engagements.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and make independent decisions.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and training.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a high-availability role.
