TopView Sightseeing is a New York City-based company offering a variety of sightseeing bus tours. We own and manage the portfolio of brands, including TopView Sightseeing, Event Cruises NYC, Liberty Cruise, Bike Rental Central Park, and Attraction Pass. In this role, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you would be responsible for the following;
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor the safety of employees and guests and promote a culture of safety
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on company policies and procedures
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents and define their terminology so they are consistent and clearly understood by all audiences that read and/or use them
- Collaborate with departmental Subject Matter Experts (SME) in documenting processes, developing flowcharts, and drafting SOPs
- Review internal performance tracking to ensure its accurate, properly logged, and review Inspection / Quality Control performance and/or safety reports takes required corrective action
- Interacts with Bus Operators to review Inspection / Quality Control performance and/or safety reports addressing any concerning scores
- Coordinates with internal and/or external partners to ensure necessary training per performance of Bus Operators is secured
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership with strategic recommendations to help develop or modify operating policies
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Respond to daily operational developments and emergencies
- Serve as a source of knowledge to employees
- May represent the organization to governmental agencies, national organizations, and/or the general public as appropriate to the position.
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of managing a team of at least 20 People
- Exceptionally dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to provide excellent customer service
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Must have availability to work weekends and holidays
- Computer literate with proficiency in google office applications, e.g., docs, sheets, email, chat
- The ability to work outdoors year-round.
- The ability to travel to multiple locations reliably
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $90,000 / $100,000 Annually
