Objective: In this position you will be manufacturing metal using a Bar Stock machine in a fast-paced shop environment. You will be working on multiple projects for various clients, interpreting blueprints and following each project to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organize raw Bar Stock materials according to specifications.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or contamination.
- Set up and operate Bar Stock processing machinery, such as saws, shears, or CNC machines, to cut, shape, or process raw materials.
- Load and unload Bar Stock materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency of the production process.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect Bar Stock materials for defects, damage, or irregularities before and after processing.
- Use measuring tools and instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy and quality of finished parts.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials or parts for further inspection or disposition.
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 plus years of Fabrication experience required
- Experience with steel/aluminum
- The ability to read blueprints and basic math

Shift: Mon-Fri 5AM-2:30PM
Wage: $19-$23/hour
