GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversees the overall manufacturing process ensuring the safety of team members, the quality of the product produced, and optimized production to meet customer demand. Supervises and directs the technical personnel responsible for supporting the development and improvement of every state of production to ensure the manufacturing of high-quality, cost-effective products.

essential functions
- Looks out for the welfare and safety of all team members and ensures health and safety standards are being met.
- Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve manufacturing budgets and goals.
- Supervises the operations supervisors to ensure a manufacturing process is within budget and time schedule.
- Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of technical production employees to ensure a competent workforce.
- Conduct studies and research to discover a more effective approach to production.
- Oversee the regulation of work shift to ensure proper workload distribution.
- Assures the maintenance of production equipment and machines is being done to ensure efficient operations.
- Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems.
- Network with the quality assurance department to ensure product quality and specification are consistent.
- Conduct assessments to identify mechanical and procedural limitations that minimize work efficiency.
- Monitor and control a production process to adjust operations in event of a problem.
- Collaborate with and support the marketing and sales staff to continuously grow the business for the future.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment required for manufacturing.
- Review personnel performance to determine individual and team growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, Maintenance Program, Lean Programs
- Knowledge of EMS, QMS policies and objectives. Knowledge of Lean principles and practices to exceed the requirements and all other standards to serve our target markets.
- Maintains and designs records and reports to enhance and improve productivity.
