Responsibilities
Coordinates operations for a department/division across the enterprise in alignment with institutional and department/division mission, vision, and objectives. Serves as a key member of the leadership team with a primary focus on relationship management, planning and implementation of policies and systems, and strategic initiatives. Facilitates project management while leading a multidisciplinary team including financial analysis, problem solving, and team collaboration. Partners in the support of enterprise department/division and institutional projects, staff recruitment and position management, and serves as a primary resource for issues and communications.
Participates in staffing planning in accordance with fluctuating workload. Fosters an internal culture of positive teamwork and transparency that drives excellent service, quality, diversity of thought, and engaging work environment and overall continuous improvement mindset. Able to understand and effectively align operational needs and capabilities with technology solutions and end-to-end processes that optimize end results in a cost-effective way while having an eye toward the future and scale. Serves as change agent, championing agile ways of thinking and working to enable teams and individuals for success.
Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling a variety of operational and relationship management issues. Direct reports may include supervisors and/or other department/division personnel. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Operations Manager for Hospital Internal Medicine, Advanced Care at Home/Care Hotel.
This position will support the Practice and may require flex into hospital and ambulatory practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with two years healthcare management experience with strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff; or an Associate's degree with four years healthcare management experience with strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff.
Must have excellent communication, organizational and human relation skills. Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships. Requires excellent decision-making and judgment capabilities. Must have broad based knowledge of office support and computer systems along with spreadsheets, databases, statistics, software knowledge and installation, and accounting practices for budgetary responsibilities.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:
- Prefer Master's degree in Business or Healthcare field.
- Possess comprehensive operational knowledge and excel in leading initiatives and teams dedicated to achieving operational excellence.
