We are hiring a Operations Manager for our Ecommerce Brand on a remote team. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the commerce team’s entire operations network, liaising with our 3PL partners on a day to day basis and bringing our products from concept into our customers hands in a timely and efficient manner, among other initiatives.
You’ll be an intimate part of a dynamic business team launching customer-focused initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Manage our day-to-day operations and relationship with our 3PL partners.
- Proactively think of ways to improve delivery times, costs, operations, inventory management.
- Liaise with our internal teams to ensure that customer facing messaging is in line with appropriate delivery dates and incoming products are delivered within the defined metrics.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams on new product launches, ensuring products and systems are set up operationally for success.
- Coordinate with our partners to proactively identify future backorders
- Liaise with customer service to provide information on product launch timing, potential out of stocks / backorders
- Track inventory, sales, and upcoming promotional initiatives to identify out of stock risks and ensure product re-orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with finance to ensure that invoices are accurate and identify solutions to lower our operational costs.
- Define and analyze monthly KPI’s and track action plans for improvement.
- Provide weekly recap to management on operational status, identifying potential red flags and proactive action steps.
- Evaluate and make recommendations to our current processes, identify needs for improvements, and execute
- Drive high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the team.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of working in an operational role liaising with third party logistics companies and/or warehouses. Knowledge of Shipstation is a plus.
- Deep understanding of operational efficiencies needed to run an ecommerce business
- Understanding of the e-commerce environment and experience with working with e-commerce software such as Shopify.
- Deep understanding of carriers and transportation services, including freight logistics
- Ability and experience following routing guides and working with retailers to deliver products for their distribution.
- Experience with working through product life cycle to bring product from concept to consumer.
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions/recommendations.
- Must be able to multi-task with direction from business owners.
- Great critical thinking skills to handle issues before they even arise.
- Ability to work well with diverse stakeholders (product, marketing, content, technology, sales, executive).
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
- Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
