Position Purpose:The Operations Coordinator serves as the administrative support specialist for developing digital scholarship services across the second floor of Berry Library. The coordinator provides oversight for daily operations, manages the scheduling of specialized spaces, coordinates programmatic support, and supports print, media, and equipment collections and circulation. The Operations Coordinator works closely with the Baker-Berry Library Public Services Coordinator, liaising to improve user engagement and foster a positive and proactive student workforce. The Operations Coordinator role will evolve as necessary to support efforts toward developing a multidisciplinary digital scholarship center on the second floor of Berry Library.

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:● Three to five years of related library or office experience or equivalent.● Demonstrated proficiency with audiovisual and multimedia hardware and software, with experience in editing and graphic design applications such as iMovie, PremierePro, Photoshop, InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite software.● Demonstrated proficiency with writing technical and workflow documentation for a variety of users.● Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative; ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working in an academic library or higher education environment.● Knowledge of library automated information systems and utilities (e.g. Alma, Primo).● A record of contributing to equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

Description:Serves as primary staff contact for patron service desks supporting digital scholarship. Provides general assistance to patrons; makes referrals to media, music, maps, or data specialists (or other Dartmouth Library staff) when necessary and appropriate; oversees and performs public service activities such as circulation, reference, and collections management.

Description:Coordinates administrative functions in support of workshops, events, and programming. Maintains and communicates digital scholarship calendars and policies, both internally and externally.

Description:Maintains a working knowledge of digital media equipment, software, printers and facilities; supports equipment loan scheduling, checkouts, returns, and training; supports patrons with using specialized rooms, hardware, and software. Supports maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, supplies, and software platforms, including repairs, upgrades, and procurement. Updates and creates equipment and software tutorials as needed.
