The Data Management team is a function within Operations that ensures the reference data across all Point72 systems is reflected accurately. Any discrepancies are monitored daily and must be resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
What you'll do
- Help maintain the firm's global security master and universe of reference data
- Activate new portfolios and create accounts
- Troubleshoot pricing issues raised by the trading desk and resolve in a timely manner
- Work with middle office and technology teams to resolve trade flow errors
- Coordinate with various teams across the firm including Portfolio Management/Trading Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Technology to resolve any security master or reference data related issues
- Work with technology to test and deploy system enhancements
What's required
- 0-2+ years experience in operations at a hedge fund
- High attention to detail aimed at delivering a product that meets our best-in-class standards
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Sense of urgency and an ability to prioritize effectively
- A "team-first" attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment
- A self-starter who is able to work independently
