Operable Partitions Service and Repair

In/Ex Systems Inc. is a distributor and installer of specialty installation products including Operable Walls, Chutes International's Trash and Linen Chutes, Acoustical Treatments and Toilet Partitions and Accessories. We are looking for mechanically minded service oriented person who can maintain, service, repair, and inspect operable partition systems from all manufacturers inclucing: Hufcor, Kwikwall, Moderco, Panelfold, Modernfold, and Advanced equipment.

Similar experince servicing and Repairing door systems, overhead doors, building maintenance with operable walls, hangar doors, automotive repair and bodywork, would be valuable to this position.

We are based in the Kennesaw and service throughout Georgia, Alabama and East Tennessee, with the occasional Florida job. The majority of our service jobs are local, but some travel will be required. This may include trips out of town. Distribution of service work generally is 60% Metro Atlanta, 20% Georgia, 20% outside of GA. Overnight travel is during the week - usually home on weekends. We offer competitive pay and the company pays for travel expenses, including mileage reimbursement. Hourly rate is based on qualifications and previous experience. Position is Full-time, 45 - 50 hours per week average.

The types of buildings you will work in are high rise buildings, churches, commercial office spaces, industrial buildings, schools and colleges. The types of clients we serve are general contractors, building engineers, and owners.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to travel during the work week when necessary.
• Speak with cusomers with operable partiton problems and service needs to analyze their issues, set up inspection and Repair appointments. Execute overhaul, service, and Repair of air wall systems.
• Work up estimates for repair, parts, service agreements, and preventive maintenance agreements.
• Technology skills needed include: e-mail, internet, smartphone operation (including taking & sending) pictures.
• Ability to learn installation techniques and skills for various manufacturers of opwalls.
• Ability to work in diverse environments and situations including heights from 10’ to 35’ from scissor lifts.
• Ability to lift materials exceeding 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Education Requirements: High School or equivalent.
• Drivers License and good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to travel during the work week when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
