Aperio Global is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to support our DoD customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role is tailored for a professional with 3 to 10 years of experience in intelligence analysis, specifically in open-source intelligence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of OSINT methodologies and be certified in this field. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Intelligence Analysis and Reporting: Conduct advanced OSINT research and analysis to support Army intelligence objectives. Synthesize data from a variety of public sources, including social media, news outlets, and public records, and produce comprehensive intelligence reports.
2. Methodology Development: Stay updated with the latest OSINT tools and techniques. Develop and refine methodologies for more efficient and effective intelligence gathering and analysis.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other intelligence analysts and military personnel to integrate OSINT findings with other intelligence sources. Participate in joint operations and exercises as required.
4. Security and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of security, ensuring all activities are conducted within the parameters of the TS/SCI clearance. Uphold strict compliance with Army and intelligence community protocols.
5. Training and Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance OSINT skills. Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts and team members as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 10 years of experience in OSINT or related intelligence field.
- OSINT training or certification is required.
- Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with military operations and terminology is advantageous.
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field is preferred.
