Compensation: The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 per year. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
Unitex is currently seeking a full time, hands on Onsite Linen Manager at Jersey City Hospital located in Jersey City, NJ.
This Onsite Linen Manager opportunity requires an independent, self-managed, hands-on person to oversee linen management in one of our most prestigious hospital locations.
Job Detail / Responsibilities:
- Oversees the collection and distribution of linen and medical apparel throughout the healthcare facility.
- Counts, records and makes inventory adjustments as required.
- Acts as the primary contact between the customer and Unitex.
- Ensures that Unitex policies and procedure are implemented and followed.
- Handles linen inventory, loss and abuse.
- Prepares weekly work schedules for linen attendants to ensure proper coverage.
- Builds client relationships and work to resolve quality, quantity and other issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Participates in linen committee meetings with senior account managers and hospital personnel to help further educate the benefits of linen conservation.
- Ability to perform basic data entry.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years in a supervisor/lead position.
- Proven work history.
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Punctual
- Flexible to work weekends/Holidays as needed.
