About the role

In the role of Onboarding Manager at Zillow Group, you will lead a cohort of Premier Agent sales new hires through their pivotal first 90 days of employment. You will orchestrate sales skills development initiatives, providing personalized mentorship and team workshops to reinforce onboarding training and support new hires until they demonstrate proficiency in essential sales skills. Your objective assessments will ensure new hires can consistently meet monthly sales goals in a full-time sales role. We seek a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record in developing successful sales professionals, possessing a strong grasp of basic selling principles and the ability to nurture critical skills in others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a cohort of Premier Agent sales new hires during their initial 90 days at Zillow Group.

  • Implement sales skills development initiatives through personalized mentorship and team workshops.

  • Provide ongoing support to new hires until they exhibit strength in crucial sales proficiencies.

  • Conduct objective assessments of critical proficiencies for sustained sales success.

  • Ensure newly hired sales professionals can consistently meet monthly sales goals in a full-time capacity.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $113,200.00 - $180,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of relevant sales leadership experience with a track record of developing sales capabilities at scale.

  • Consistent track record of employee and career development, particularly in a remote work environment.

  • Data-driven and process oriented; adept at handling feedback and feed-forward loops to iteratively improve team member’s performance.

  • Operates optimally in heavily cross-functional environments and delivers impactful outcomes through skill development across geographically dispersed teams. Possess the ability to align and empower teams towards common goals, and skilled in conflict resolution.

  • Entrepreneurial approach, thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively shifting between critical thinking to define strategy and be responsible for tactical execution.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners to deliver key initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
