Client Onboarding Specialist
Location: Bloomington, MN
Hours: Full-time; M-F; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
In this position you will be responsible for supporting the client experience for a growing MSP in the Twin Cities. The Client Onboarding Specialist will be the initial point of contact for new clients to guide them through the onboarding process. They will work alongside members of the onboarding, sales, and technical teams to build the foundation for a successful ongoing relationship. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, flexible, and organized teammate who is driven to provide clients with an exceptional experience through positive and effective communication. Duties include:
- Welcome new clients to DTS Managed Services through initial and ongoing communication via phone, email, and/or project management software.
- Coordinate and lead onboarding meetings between clients and internal team members.
- Coordinate and lead internal meetings to discuss new client details and ongoing status updates for onboardings and projects.
- Proactively communicate updates to clients through various communication channels.
- Work within various software platforms to set up new client information and monthly recurring contracts to bill service deliverables.
- Setup integrations between software platforms to sync data where able.
- Provide additional project management support as needed.
- Provide pre-sales support as needed.
- Procure hardware and software related to onboarding.
- Invoice initial onboarding fees, hardware, and contract invoices.
- Ensure a smooth transition for clients to a dedicated Client Success Manager for ongoing support.
- Promote tools to engage and improve client satisfaction (i.e. Client Portal, Cybersecurity Training) which may include training clients on how to use specific tools/platforms.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Provide a high-level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when responding to customer requests.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent 3-5 years related experience
- Managed Services (IT, VoIP, SaaS) background or knowledge preferred
- Ability to conduct client-facing meetings with professionalism and positive presence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enter data with high-level of accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Outgoing and positive attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various software platforms
- Experience with project management software is a plus
Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 10-20 pounds
- Constant use of computer including keyboard and mouse
- Typing 40 WPM +
