Implements all aspects of the Workforce Development Plan and/or identified Evidence Based Training requirements including conducting, coordinating, and managing training programs assigned. Conducts training needs assessments as necessary and develops training programs to meet both department and staff needs. Secures CEU approval for applicable trainings through the State of Michigan as appropriate. Works cooperatively with the Human Resources Supervisor to develop and maintain an annual Workforce Development Plan and calendar to promote ongoing staff and leadership development and to ensure compliance with training requirements.
Develops training aids such as PowerPoint presentations and multimedia visual aids, training handbooks, demonstration models, computer tutorials, reference works, refresher trainings and tests to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs offered. Manages the ESM Relias online Learning System including Learner Profiles, assigning and entering training, and report development for supervisory oversight. Formulates teaching outlines and determines the appropriate instructional method such as individual and online training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, web conferencing, meetings and workshops. Work with various program managers and supervisors in the onboarding of new employees to Easterseals. Oversees the onboarding process of new staff including coordination with program leadership specific to program onboarding, checklist completion and training assignment. Processes new hire paperwork with newly hired employees ensuring that all paperwork, including credentialing, CAQH. NPI, payroll, training, demographic and other required paperwork is completed. Works cooperatively with the IT Department to ensure that Staff ID Badges and assigned equipment is ready and provided upon completion of new hire paperwork. Sets new hires up in HRIS, Relias, and all applicable EMR Systems. Develop and refine people processes to improve our exceptional workplace across all facets of Easterseals. Analyze survey data and outcomes to identify the most valuable themes and stories to drive feedback strategies and help improve culture and engagement. Manage mechanisms to measure, track, and report on employee engagement in the organization. Work collaboratively with other departments to implement engagement strategies as it relates to job satisfaction, belonging and retention.
