On-Call Snow Removal Driver (Seasonal)

Rubicon is looking for talented, hardworking individuals to join our Snow Removal team for the Winter Season. We only work when it snows, so hours per week fluctuate. This position is on-call based because we work according to the weather. The position entails working on a crew to provide reliable Snow Removal to a variety of clientele along the Wasatch Front. Crews are usually made up of 2-4 people (refer your friends!). Keep in mind that businesses do not run 24/7. Most of our work is done overnight or early morning while parking lots are vacant). You must supply your own boots, jackets, gloves, etc.

We offer permanent work (optional) in addition to Snow Removal. If you enjoy working for us, we would love to add you to our full-time team as well.

We are looking for snowplow drivers (must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and pass internal training and tests). We are also looking for sidewalk crews (no drivers license required).

Rewards:

• $23-$30 per hour, depending on your experience and skills

Positions available:

• Seasonal Recurring positions – pay starts at $23/HR, you get priority to get more hours for our Snow Removal projects, construction, janitorial projects. 40 hours not guaranteed.
• Seasonal on-call, no driver’s license – pay at $25/HR for sidewalk Snow Removal projects, we will call you in emergency situations, no hours guaranteed.
• Seasonal on-call, have valid driver’s license – start at $25/HR, after finishing your training and tests you can make up to $30/HR depending on your experience, we will call you in emergency situations, no hours guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

• Work long shifts during heavy snow
• Be available for a phone call 24/7 during winter storms
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• May include use of a company vehicle

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation and a hard work ethic
• Candidates must be hardworking, dependable, honest, and committed
• Lifting of 50+ pounds may be necessary
• Attention to detail is key as safety is our top priority
• A valid driver’s license needed if you want to drive our snowplows
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Have a cell phone capable of downloading maps, apps, training videos and taking photos
