GE Appliances' Omni-Channel Sales & Marketing Co-Op will provide sales, marketing, and operations support for the Omni-Channel Sales Team. They will strengthen operational excellence through the creation & refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, they will conduct performance analysis and reporting. This is a 12-month Co-Op assignment, with potential for extension of time period.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Essential Responsibilities
Sales, Marketing & Merchandising Operations

  • Partner with National Account Manager and Product Teams to manage item setup and catalog management.
  • Track and summarize customer marketing (i.e. emails, social, sponsored products), including frequent Product Detail Page (PDP) and Customer Website benchmarking exercises.
  • Support ordering, distribution, and execution of product samples, POP, in-store displays and any additional special projects.
  • Partner with National Account Manager (NAM) and Customer Financial Service (CFS) to review validity & resolve customer chargebacks.
  • Support virtual and in-person customer meetings, as needed.

Operational Excellence
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to achieve operational excellence for the Omni-Channel National Account business.
  • Track content, sales, promotions, and pre-/post-sales resolution performance
  • Develop metrics & reporting, and partner across internal GEA teams and customer teams to identify and implement enhancements.

What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
  • Students Only. Must be currently enrolled in a college or university in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program; pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business or other technical degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (8AM-5PM) Monday-Friday with opportunities to work 40 hours per week during breaks and summer.
  • This is a 12-month internship assignment located in Louisville, KY; student will have to commute daily or as needed/scheduled to Appliance Park and/or FirstBuild office locations.
  • Must have at least 12 months of education remaining before graduation.
  • Housing & relocation assistance are not provided.

  • Pursuing a degree in sales, marketing, or analytics a plus.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Must be motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • High level of enthusiasm & energy with a positive attitude.
