Summary Statement:
The Security Officer will take pride in serving as a brand ambassador. This role may patrol, stand a static post, respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances, or requests for assistance. This role will ensure the safety and experience of guests, team members and vendors while providing a world-renowned customer service.

No one gets hurt, everyone feels secure, the environment is clean, and every guest gets what they need.- Everyone works in Safety – If you have a safety concern, it is your responsibility to address it by correcting it or notifying the appropriate department or individual.
- Everyone works in Security – If you See Something, it is your responsibility to Say Something. You must notify the appropriate department or individual if you feel there is a security concern.
- Everyone works in EVS – If there is trash on the floor, it is your responsibility to pick it up. If it is a mess that needs more attention, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.
- Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.
- Understand the importance of service in a world class resort while maintaining the awareness of safety & security.
- Follow company brand standards for Guest Service.
- Act as a first responder during emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances or requests for assistance.
- Drive/operate company vehicles as required.
- Perform basic first aid, CPR or AED application.
- Successfully complete an annual physical agility test.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the facility and special events on property, and other venues in order to advise guests and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.
- Assist with drops and fills on the casino floor.
- Interact with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.
- Gather pertinent information regarding security related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility.
- Prepare and present voluntary statements and incident reports.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- At least six months' customer service experience.
- Ability to successfully complete a physical agility test pre-hire and post-hire (annually).
- Ability to successfully pass the internal security officer training academy training.
- Ability to successfully pass repulse spray training.
- Ability to successfully pass baton training.
- Ability to successfully attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, handcuffing techniques, first aid, and CPR/AED.
- Ability to participate in all evacuations procedures to aid guests and employees during an emergency.
- Ability to operate assigned equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Experience 1-3 years in field or equivalent
- Previous Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
- High School Diploma/ General Education Diploma
- Experience 1-3 years in field or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States (provided I-9 Documentation).
- Position required licenses Alcohol Awareness Card
- Perform basic first aid, CPR or AED application.
- Position required Gaming License.
