Davis CountyAnimal Care is currently hiring for a full-time Office Manager II in Fruit Heights, Utah. This position performs supervisory and complex clerical duties in managing the office operations of the animal shelter. Applications will be accepted through February 29, 2024.

Pay range and benefits:
$22.02 - $28.02/hr
*Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of college level course work in management or bookkeeping, plus six (6) years of increasingly responsible related office experience, at least two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory or lead worker capacity.
An acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered; related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Preference for at least two years of work experience in basic bookkeeping, accounting principles or Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA).
Preference for related work experience involving inventory and ordering supplies, including medical items.

Day to Day Duties
- Completes Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) requests.
- Reviews documents and correspondence prepared for the Director's signature.
- Proofreads Powerpoints, letters, emails and other correspondence as needed by the administrative team.
- Reports on monthly shelter animal data and finances.
- Creates and/or updates the shelter's website pages, prepares press releases for news media, newsletters, flyers and brochures.
- Processes purchase orders, vouchers, budget adjustments, payroll, and accounts receivable and payable.
- Provides in-person and over the phone professional customer service.
- Receives and distributes incoming mail and electronic communications.
- Orders office supplies and equipment; maintains inventory.
