Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and productivity. This is a key role that requires strong accounting and bookkeeping experience, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Maintaining the general ledger, bank and ledger reconciliation, monthly closing duties and preparing documents for accountant.
- Perform AP/AR duties such as; posting and paying invoices, posting rental income and billing customers
- Handling and maintaining instrument rental contracts
- Entering deposits from all locations and taking them to the bank
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and employees to ensure smooth operations
- Manage payroll and employee benefits administration
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order office supplies as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Strong accounting experience
- Strong clerical skills with the ability to organize files and documents efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in payroll software and other relevant tools
- Knowledge of retail management practices is preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
