Office Manager
BaySmiles is a growing company in the Bayside, NY and surrounding areas. We are a group of experienced Dental professionals who are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our community. We are looking for a highly organized Office Manager to assist with daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of administrative tasks with attention to detail and discretion. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Maintain office filing systems
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Arrange new patient appointments as well as contact patients via phone, email, or other means
- Update and maintain records of employee hours per week
- Assist with payroll processing for new hires, insurance verification, benefits enrollment, etc.
- Assist with scheduling of staff when necessary
- Maintain positive communication with patients, vendors, suppliers, etc.
- Billing and accounts receivable
- Maintain contact lists of patients, vendors, suppliers etc.
- Answer the phone and return calls in a professional manner
- Prepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment.
- Manage the Doctor and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
