Salt Lake Academy of Music is a dynamic, fun and productive non-profit music school seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as an Office Associate.
Responsibilities:
As an Office Associate at Salt Lake Academy of Music, you will be the first point of contact for our students, parents, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Managing phone, email and website inquiries, and providing accurate program information or directing calls to the appropriate staff.
- Utilizing the Google software suite for various administrative and communications tasks.Scheduling appointments and managing the academy's calendar efficiently.
- Providing excellent customer service to all individuals entering the academy.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Previous experience in a reception, office management, sales or customer service role.
- Proficiency in using the Google software suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a loud, interruptive office environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to pass a multi-state criminal background check
Schedule:
This is a part-time position up to 24 hours a week. The candidate must be able to work afternoons & evenings Monday through Friday.
