The New Madrid Power Plant is looking for a highly energetic, organized individual for our Office Associate in the Power Production Division!
This position reports directly to the Senior Plant Manager; however, the Office Associate also provides administrative support to multiple leaders/employees within the organization. A few specific tasks, including but not limited to:
- Making travel arrangements
- Coordination of meals and assistance with various plant initiatives
- Provide clerical support to multiple departments
- Manage the Senior Plant Manager's calendar and/or correspondence
Requirements for the position:
- Must be professional and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Maintain a high standard of ethical behavior in all business activities and decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Demonstrate initiative and motivation to organize, complete tasks, and meet deadlines in a timely manner with attention to accuracy and detail
- High School Diploma, or equivalent is required
- One to two years of business college is preferred
- Two years of experience as an office assistant is required
