Uptown Catering is currently seeking candidates for a Part-time Executive assistant position at our Houston, Texas location.
Title: Office Assistant
Reports To: Office Administrator
Summary of Position: The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the office administrator and sales team on day-to-day tasks that include but are not limited to making labels, menu signs, printing invoices, packing orders, and providing support to other team members as needed.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. This is a part time position.
Accountabilities:
Execution of all systems per Uptown Catering standards.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
Assist with data entry and maintaining electronic and physical records.
Assist with inventory management.
Maintain an energetic friendly working environment.
Communicate effectively with delivery Drivers.
Provide support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
1-2 Years of Administrative Experience Required
Experienced and proficient in the use of basic computer technology (Excel, QuickBooks, Word, Email)
Strong leadership skills.
Bilingual Preferred
1-2 years of Catering experience preferred.
Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills.
Works well in a fast-paced setting.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Must exhibit a professional and presentable image at all times.
Possess Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Reliable Personal Vehicle (w/ A/C)
